Everyone loves the classic look of the bistro table and chairs as do we here at French Quarters. We even featured a post on the original bistro furniture entitled At Home Bistro, where we shared how to replicate a French bistro look in your home. As with all classic things, each new day brings modern and contemporary variations and the same applies to the bistro table. We found some contemporary bistro tables over on Apartment Therapy.

The contemporary takes on the timeless table are made of mixed materials instead of all steel or rattan. Others featured lacquered tops and bases, or completely made of acrylic. The classic, timeless, original bistro table design will always be number one is our eyes, but what do you think of contemporary versions? Would you add one in your home for a modern French feel?
