French Art Pieces That Will Spice Up Your Inspired Home
Looking for something to bring out the beauté in your room? Draw attention to the design and texture of a room by adding a beautiful piece of French born and inspired art. Look no further then the works of these astounding French artists.
Claude Monet (1840-1926)- Born in Paris on November 14th, 1840. The unique texture of his work draws the person to look deeper into the texture of their surroundings. His work would be best place near larger beautiful wood pieces such as an armoire. Some of his work that I have found to be most captivating would be his landscape-focused pieces. Sunset In Venice(Pictured), is an example of his work that would play off textured furniture well.

Paul Ranson (1864-1954)- Born in Limoges, a city in west-central France, on February 20, 1909. Ranson was infamous for his religious pieces which combined religious motifs with Japanese inspired design . The restful, relaxed emotion that is released from his work Apple Tree With Red Fruit (Pictured) make this perfect for a lounge area or bedroom. This piece would best accent a flat grey, or light blue colored walls.

Henri Matisse (1869-1954)- Born Le Cateau-Cambresis in northern France, on December 31, 1869. Matisse focused his craft on the art of the human form although some of his more simplistic pieces will keep you and your guests impressed. Le platene (Pictured)is a favorite. It helps draw your interest without consuming the attention to the room . These pieces also work well on bright walls or a room with high contrasting furniture.

These brilliant French masters of art, along with a few other recommendations; Van Gough, Pablo Picasso, and Gustave Dore, will bring out the beauty and inspiration to any room!
