Eating local has many benefits, you know exactly where ingredients in your meals come from and you stimulate the local Fayetteville economy. In support and celebration of local food and sustainable agriculture Ozark Slow Food presents the first Ozark Harvest Food Festival this Saturday in downtown Fayetteville. Local restaurants will set up at the Fayetteville Farmers Market and prepare samples from locally grown ingredients. There will also be music, games and vegetable-sculptures in the “Artilicious-Food as Art” exhibit. Come out and support our local restaurants and farmers and help raise money for the Single Parent Scholarship Fund.
